The new Wildfire S from HTC has now been launched in a new black colour scheme on T-Mobile contract deals, first released just yesterday on Orange pay monthly deals the Black HTC Wildfire S joins the original grey / silver edition in the new line up taking over where the original Wildfire left off.
T-Mobile HTC Wildfire S Black deals offer a free phone at exactly the same price as Orange (hardly surprising as both networks are now owned by Everything Everywhere!) but you get more internet access bundled into your tariff then with Orange deals. As an example, T-Mobile 20+Internet includes 300 minutes to use to call any network at any time plus 300 SMS and a very useful 1GB of data allowance every single month all for just £20.42 line rental.
HTC Wildfire S Black
The HTC Wildfire S improves in many areas the original and best selling HTC Wildfire, the S now has a faster processor for dealing with application launches and smooth running of the HTC Sense user interface as well as a bigger battery which provides even more talktime (up to an extra hour!) thanks to the new battery management features built into the latest Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system.
The main touch screen still measures 3.2 inches but has a far batter resolution for viewing your snapped pictures with the 5.0 mega pixel camera, the camera is also now capable of capturing 720p HD video clips which also look great on the new display.
Further enhancements come in the overall dimensions of this new HTC Wildfire S phone, it is both smaller and lighter than the original making it easy to slip into a pocket or bag, although only available in black and silver / grey at present the Wildfire S is also due to be released in a purple colour scheme as well as further colours down the line.
The Wildfire series has always been a great alternative to the bigger HTC Desire S and Incredible S models offering similar features thanks to Android including access to over 150,000 apps from the Android Market, but the Wildfire S costs far less than it’s bigger competitors and suits many people looking for a great touch screen phone without the price tag.
